Review: I don't know what happened to this cleaners. Lived in the area and used them for the last 12 -13 years and until now they've always been great. Brought in a thick Irish wool sweater in May to get dry cleaned at the end of the season and then put it away until December. When I went to put the sweater on this winter, I noticed there was a pretty significant stain still remaining on the front right hand side. I brought it back in and the woman said that she wasn't responsible for it after this long of a period of time; which kind of makes sense, except that I never had to double check their work before, so it didn't dawn on me that I had to do so now. She took it back over the counter, but when I went to pick it up, it was pretty clear that nothing new had been done to this sweater, the stain was still there and she was just being dishonest and wasting my time. It likely wasn't even dry cleaned the first time to come back like this. I won't use a business that wastes a customer's time like this, and I won't use a cleaners where they do such a bad job that you have to check and double check their work when you get it back. There are a million cleaners in the area. I'll check the reviews and find a new one that does good work the first time and stands by their work, because I won't be going back here. This sweater cost $55 to get cleaned, so not a paltry sum when I've been getting it cleaned here for 10 years. Do the math, because this business can't.

Review: My suit jacket was altered flawlessly, even though it is reclaimed vintage fabric that is difficult to work with. She is quite expensive, but if you need high quality work done then you can rely on her. I only had 6 days before leaving town for a wedding. She charged $150 to take in the waist and shorten the arms of my delicate suit jacket (April 2023). Details like wrist buttons and seam lines were preserved - on the hanger it looked like the original, but when I put it on it fit perfectly. Loads of compliments at the wedding!

Review: For alterations - beware. I needed a simple dress hemmed (one thick piece of fabric) and brought the shoes I would be wearing and said I wanted the hem of the dress to touch the ground/hide my toes. He argued with me saying the hem needed to be higher and it took me awhile to convince him to hem it to the length I wanted. Then he quoted me $75 (he gave me a “steep discount” for my first time) for the simple hem!! The prices are insanity compared to others in the city. I picked up the dress and took it home to try on only to find it’s too short and it smells like cigarettes. Definitely take your alterations elsewhere! I wish I had read other reviews before bringing my dress here.
