Review: This review is overdue. I have been waiting over five months since January for this issue to be resolved, from the time of my initial complaint. Still there is no response from Bakker’s Dry Cleaning to the BBB complaint I submitted. Please do yourself a favour and don’t bring your valuable designer/couture clothing items here if you want them returned in excellent condition.If I could give Bakker’s Dry Cleaners no stars, I would! They damaged my new designer pants, which I had only worn a few times. They have not taken responsibility for the damage that occurred in their care. This company is not customer service-oriented; they are very argumentative and full of excuses. They never called me when they couldn’t find a care label on my pants to prevent damage.When I picked up my pants, they were still soiled, not cleaned, and looked faded. The associate Kevin remarked that almost all clothing gets faded/distressed when dry cleaned and said I shouldn’t have brought in expensive items. This was a rude remark. Trisha, the operation manager, corrected Kevin, saying clothing doesn’t always get faded or distressed and that he was not trained to say this. She then asked me to leave my pants for examination.I can’t emphasize enough: this is not a fine dry cleaner. The many complaints on Google and BBB confirm this, as does a fabric restoration specialist who examined my damaged pants. Bakker’s did not handle my clothing with care.Bakker’s never replied after the designer team confirmed in writing, that no manufacture oversights occurred in the dying of my pants. Trisha, avoided responsibility by claiming it was a manufacturing defect of colour loss surface chafing after initial examination. Then suggested I could by another pair of pants on the designer’s website.Bakker’s also hot-sealed their permanent scanning code inside both of my pants without permission. Vandalising my property. As a wardrobe stylist, this makes it hard to resell my clothing when labels are defaced.No discount coupons could make me return to this cleaners. A cleaning service should return items in better condition, but this is not the case at Bakker’s. I can’t trust a dry cleaner that takes no accountability and sweeps issues under the rug.

Review: Bakker’s Fine Drycleaning staff are consistently happy, prompt, and professional. Their estimated completion dates tend to be longer than the actual turnaround time. For instance, I brought in a king-sized comforter on a Saturday and was told it would be ready by Friday, but I received a text that it was finished by Tuesday—super quick! I also appreciate their text and call options for notifications. However, their phone app could use some improvement as it currently lacks detailed pricing information and monthly specials.
