Review: Unfortunately did not have a great result with getting my jeans altered here. I came in a week before leaving for a trip to get the bottom of my jeans hemmed. I did measurements and let Julie know I want the bottom to look exactly like it currently does, just shorter in length. When I came to pick up my jeans a week later, the bottom of the pants had fringe on them that wasn’t there before and noticeably a different color. I was pretty dissatisfied and let Julie know this is not how they looked before. She attempted to cut off the fringe but they still did not look the same. She did not offer any refund or anything to make up for this. These jeans were expensive and I ended up having to cut off more fabric myself to fix what had happened. Julie seems really kind but this experience was a bummer. See pictures for reference of what my jeans looked like before versus after.

Review: Updated * my suit was cleaned and pressed to perfection two times. This last time I was charged more and my suit came back worse than when I dropped it off. I took it back to Julie and she told me the smells doesn’t come out though the smells were not there when I dropped it off (I suspect that my suit was pressed but not cleaned).She did not offer to reclean it. She [. . .] refused to take responsibility for the product she gave to me. She said it’s the armpits but even my pants stink. Save the $50—I’m updating this review for clarity. Julie called me twice after seeing this review. She gets a low review because she did not reclean it. If it stinks because of me, prove me wrong. Don’t just take my money and infer that my smells are those immune from dry cleaning. Especially considering I am a returning customer who previously received a good product (the exact same suit in both summer and winter).—2nd update: Wow. I’m deeply disappointed in your response. You did not offer to reclean. I returned a 2nd time to get a refund so that I may have it recleaned elsewhere. My review stands.Final update! Just received my suit jacket back after a reclean at a different establishment. Smells nice and clean.

Review: Update: I’m dissatisfied with the owner’s response below because she did not say that the alterations would leave the dress in bad condition, she said that the collar would be wide. That I was ok with. I’m disappointed that she chose a visible trim that alters the look of the dress on the collar and sleeves. Also, two stained garments were returned to me. Fortunately I was able to remove the stain mentioned below with hot water and vinegar.Original: I'm disappointed stains from two garments were not removed but my main reason for posting is the owner adding decorative, visible trim to the sleeves and neckline of a garment she removed the collar and cuffs on without consulting me (it looks like this made work easier). What was added looks cheap and I’ll need to take it somewhere else to have it redone.
